Let's dive into everything baseball related from Monday, April 20th.

We'll start it off as always with the transactions, injuries, news and notes from around the league.

And boy, do we have a lot of IL placements from Monday.

Relief pitcher Mason Englert was placed on the 15-day IL with forearm tightness.

Relief pitcher Trevor Martin was selected from the minors to replace him in

the raised bullpen next week starting pitcher Mick Abel who was placed on the 15 day IL with

elbow inflammation. Abel finally figured things out with like 16 13 straight scurly sinnings

and striking out 10 batters in his last start. Now Abel will spend a few weeks working on nursing a sore elbow.

It's sort of a devastating injury for a guy who was finally breaking out after struggling in his first two starts.

But luckily, the twins have reinforcements.

Starting pitcher Kendri Rojas is expected to be recalled from the miners.

He's the twins number 10 prospect,

according to MLB Pipeline. And Connor Prelip is also expected to be recalled from the minors.

He's the twins number five prospect, according to MLB Pipeline, and he will replace relief pitcher

Cody Funderberg, who's being placed on the paternity list. It's unclear if Rojas or prelip will be the one

to enter the twins rotation, but my money would be on the higher ranked prospect in prelip.
