We'll start it off, as always, with the transactions injuries, news and notes from around the league.

We finally have a little bit of slowdown on the transactions.

I feel like every day, it's just like 10 straight minutes of transactions.

So luckily, we can focus more on some performances from yesterday. But we have just one

aisle placement as outfielder. Joey Loprfito was placed on the 10-day IL with a quad strain.

Loepereto is expected to miss the minimum time, but that timeline was provided by the Astros.

And they've been very unreliable when it comes to the timeline for injured players.

So I wouldn't buy too much into that.

But Lopor,

could return in 10 days.

Outfielder Dustin Harris, who was claimed off waivers from the White Sox the other day,

will be in a left field platoon with Shea Whitcomb until Loporfeito returns.

In terms of transactions, outfielder, Kyle Stowers was

activated from the 10-day IL after opening the season on the injured list with a hamstring strain.

Stowers started in left field and batted cleanup in his debut and will be the everyday left

fielder for the Marlins moving forward, taken away playing time from Herberto Hernandez and Javier Sinoja.

Stowers should be rostered everywhere after batting 284 with 25 homers last year,

but keep an eye on his strikeouts as they were inflated last year at 28% and could lead to
