Hello there, I'm Chuck Todd. I just got off the Meet the Press set. I wrapped up an exclusive

interview with Congresswoman Liz Cheney of Wyoming. She's of course the Vice Chair of the

House January 6th Committee, a departing Republican member of Congress. Who shall we say

had a lot to say about her party. I'm sitting here now with Kristen Walker, our Chief

White House correspondent, Cohen Kerr, of Weekend Today and my partner on Meet the Press

Election Specials. So we got our poll. We got Liz Cheney. I got a lot to say about the

poll, but I actually want to start the Liz Cheney interview for her. Yeah, let's do it.

It was a great interview. You and I both have had some great long interviews this week.

You had a Herschel Walker. I did Liz Cheney and both of us were able to take time with

the interviews. Yes. God, this is just the difference between NBC News and cable channels.

Well, think about how much you got to cover with her. That's right. And look at how much you

got to cover with with Walker. Yes. So look, we're sitting here saying this out loud so that

our bosses realize longer interviews are better. Look, I would say this with Liz Cheney, there

is no ambiguity. No. And that is, I think what makes her so it's funny. It's always made

her so attractive to certain members of the electorate to Republicans for the longest

times because she sticks to her guns. And then now to Democrats, they love her because

she sticks to her guns. Well, one of the questions I thought that was so fantastic that elicited

a really important response was when you pressed her on the fact that she has been attacked

literally from the left and right. And what does that feel like? We in the media deal

with it. Yes. But not, but she is dealt with it as a politician. Unlike, I can't think

of another politician who is, I mean, think about the venom that came because she was

a critical form, a Barack Obama's foreign policy. Right. And it was real venom from the
