Welcome to day two on our series where we're exploring the theme to dare to live more fully.

This is a series where you unleash your creativity and in today's episode you're going to be guided as you repeat an affirmation.

An affirmation is a positive statement you repeat to help you focus on your intention.

And as you explore this week's creativity series, you have a challenge.

Your challenge is to begin to express yourself in a unique way each and every day and I'll be sharing with you different ways each day.

You can express yourself and I'll be sharing a journal prompt for all those journalists out there who are not only meditating showing up for themselves every day to allow themselves to slow down and sit in stillness but also journaling, writing their reflections either before or after they meditate.

When you write down your reflections after you meditate, it's a beautiful ritual.

You will glean so much insight into your life when you do this and you could also use your journaling as an opportunity to do what you could consider to be a brain dump where you let go of your worries.

So that was one reason why I wanted to share this week's meditation theme with you and I want to share a little insight about creativity.

Why are some people more creative than others? Creative people embody complexity. They show tendencies of thought and action that are segregated in others.

Those on to say that creative people, they balance intense energy with quiet rest, playfulness with discipline, fantasy with reality, and passion for their work with objectivity.

And neuroscience research supports this idea. Creative people may better engage the three brain systems, your default mode network, the salience network, and the executive control network.
