So I'm joined this week by Liam McManus who is top podiatrist from Southwest Bodiedary in

Southwest London and well you suggested we talk about this actually because it's something

I would never really have thought about but it's still a big issue for many people.

Yeah, let's talk about viruses.

Viruces on the feet.

So, Varuka, basically.

So Varuca's a really common, art there.

You know, when we were children, we got our feet checked at school.

And before you got in that pool, you either had a sock

on or you weren't going swimming, right? So they're really, really common. But what are they?

Well, look, there are a little virus in the skin, in the epidermis, so the top layer of skin,

and they can spread, and they're really normal, they're benign. You do not need to treat them

unless, unless they are

painful or unless you're physically or emotionally concerned about them. Okay. I remember getting

a Veruca when I was younger. I'm really sorry for being disgusting here, but my mum would get

her tweezers out and go, right, I'm going to have to remove it. Oh, does everyone's mom, everyone's mom do that at some point?

Absolutely.

I don't know why she wanted to do that.
