Game seven of the NBA finals?

No, game seven of the first round.

So the first round's wrapping up.

So the Lakers advanced.

They eliminated the Houston Rockets.

But what's interesting is before the, so before the postseason started, there's like a

week or two after the regular season ends, you know, and it's all the time for like all

the pundits and analysts to like, you know, do their punditry and analysis. And everyone was saying the only, there's only four teams that can possibly win the whole thing. Oklahoma City, who are the defending champs, Denver Nuggets, San Antonio Spurs, Boston Celtics. No one else has a prayer. Okay. Well, the Denver Nuggets got eliminated in the first round by Minnesota. It was beautiful because I hate those guys. Okay. So one of the, so 25% of the only four teams that can make it has, didn't even make it out of the first rounds. Yeah. The Celtics who have the best record in, or I think they have the best record in the East. and a a lot of people are just picking them like the Celtics going to win it all which as a Lakers fan you can't have that right yeah well the Celtics are in the first round and and the the eighth seated 76ers have pushed it all the way to a game seven so there's's a game seven in Boston, do or die elimination game

just to get out of the first round. Yeah. Dude, and if the Celtics lose, it would be just so

beautiful. Because the whole problem was all four of those teams that could potentially win are teams

I don't want to win. Yeah. Because I, the Spurs, I could, I could live with that. Really?

The San Antonio Spurs?

Because you used to hate them. Well, there's a rivalry that goes back to the Kobe Shack days in the early 2000. Yeah, with Tim. They were just so good. But that was 25 years ago. Tim Duncan? Yeah. David Robinson back then. Yeah. I remember one time I asked you because you just hated that guy. I'm like, I'm like, what, why do you hate him? And you're like, is he like a bad person?

You're like, oh, no, he's like a super, super nice person, like gives charity. He's like really good person. Like Tim Duncan's one of those guys. He never, never had a harsh word to say to anybody. Yeah. You know, just a good sport all around. Fundamentals like, you know, incredible. But it's like, you're

on the team that that is really good and there are rivals. So I hate that. And I want his career

to end in some horrific fashion. So, dude, if the Celtics, if the Celtics lose in the first

round, that'd be so sick. So the Lakers made it through to the second round? Yeah. I mean, and so next up they play Oklahoma City and they're going to get killed because Oklahoma

City is like they're the best team in basketball. They're the defending champions. They are just

so deep, so athletic, so young, so good. If the Lakers win a game, if the Lakers win two games out of

the seven games series, I would be thrilled. And so would all the Lakers and their coaching staff and all their fans. Yeah. So if they win three games, you guys are going to get your hopes up and they're going to be devastated when they lose game seven. Before this first round, because our two leading scorers have been out, Luca and Austin, right? And so like before the first round started, we're playing Houston. Everyone wanted to play the Lakers. Yeah. Right? Because we're the team with it's all lame. Like, we're all hobbled and, like, you know, our two, our two, LeBron's good, but like Austin and Luca, the two leading scores, they're both out. Yeah. So every team wanted to draw us in the first round because it's going to be easy.

And every pundit, every national analyst said like, oh, the Lakers don't stand a chance to come out of the first round. Yeah. It's like they went up three nothing, lost two, and then one game six on the road. Yeah. So it's like, dude, they're really proving something, you know. if they win a couple of games in the next series and then lose it in six or something, that would be fine. Like no one would, no one would even mind. Yeah. Because they're just, they're not supposed to win. Yeah. So anyway, that's what's happening today. How are you doing? I'm fine. I got my MRI back from finally, because I think the last time we recorded I had paid out of pocket for an MRI.

And it still took five, six days to get the results.
