beginning a new era today yeah you you're in your first of all you're back home yeah and you're

in a room i've been to your house a million times i was there with you when you first saw it before you

bought it i can't even picture where you are yeah i'm looking at the camera i'm looking behind you

and i have a vague sense of what where you are but ironically i'm in Well, ironically, I'm in the podcast room. Yeah. It just doesn't, it's like, I'm so disoriented. Yeah. Yeah, I could see why you would be. Yeah. Yeah, the basement remodel is just about done. I got my office down here, a little media room. I got a place set up to record. I wouldn't call it a little media room.

Well, it's you have a 98 inch TV. That's true. Yeah. So yeah. Yeah. I mean, it's not like,

it's just like I think when I think of media rooms, I think of like, like this room is 15 by 15.

And then it's got a laundry

room and stairs, you know, so that takes me from the space. So like square footage wise,

it's not big. But we did make good use of the space. Okay, speaking of 98 inch TVs, like, is it,

because I used to make fun of people who would watch stuff on their phone, you know, like I'm

watching Lord of the Rings on my phone. Yeah. But it's like if you're just sitting in a chair holding the phone up, like I was like if I'm sitting in my chair behind me looking at my TV, it, which is, you know, eight feet away. Yeah. Is there any difference between that and holding the phone up to where the phone is the same size in my vision, like blocking the TV? Like, it feels like I'm missing something if the screen is smaller. Yeah. If it's closer to you, is there any difference? Because it's there is, but I don't know why. Last night when Sky came down and saw the TV and I was saying, look, if you sit back here on the couch,

which is 15 feet away from the TV, it doesn't seem that big. It seems about the same,

like, ratio of my field of vision as my 65 inch television TV. 65 inch television is in my bedroom,

right? Like, because I'm only sitting nine feet away from it.

So it doesn't seem like it's, it doesn't seem that huge because I'm not sitting nine feet away from it.

But I do think there's like a law of diminishing returns with this because if I said you could watch Lord of the Rings on your watch and you could just hold it up real close to your

eyes. It's not going to be that great. No, no. But every time I travel now, like I used to bring

a laptop with me, you know? Yeah. Mainly to watch stuff with. But it's like I just watch stuff

on my phone and it's fine. Yeah. But I don't know if I could watch something epic like that. Right, right. You know, I just finished Game of Thrones. And dude, it's so hard for me to be recording right now because right before we started, I googled Game of Thrones fan edit. Yeah. And there came up a Reddit, like a whole Reddit thread on it, which I was in middle of reading. Because somebody went in and season eight, they rearranged some stuff and supposedly fixed a lot of the pacing and a lot of the inconsistency. So I'm like, oh my gosh. Like, is that how good? Because I downloaded those Lord of the Rings edits a couple years ago. Yeah. And they were so good. Yeah. So I'm super curious about it. That's cool. So what is it your third time through it? Fourth? Game of Thrones? Yeah. It's hard to say. I mean, I think it was only my, I think it was my third time through the whole thing.

But, you know, when shows, when you rewatch shows as they're coming out, you always have seen the first season way more than you've seen the last season, you know.

Yeah. Yeah. But it's, I love it so much. I'm reading the books again. It's like, it's like, I kind of, I almost want to restart it again,

you know?
