Part of what's always in my head is like, especially when I talk to younger people, it's like

just reminding that politics didn't always suck. It wasn't always about like one guy, like the

worst person in the world upsetting you every day. Like it can be inspirational. It's getting farther and farther away, though, when it didn't suck.

You can do good things. You can help people. You can find some core decency. We can get back

there.

I guess my first question for you is how do you cut right to the bone with everything?

Well, we, you know, we try to have our morning meetings before the podcast to probably like you guys do at MSNBC to figure out what we want to cover that day.

And I think that, look, we started this in 2017 not knowing that we would ever be professional podcasters.

Is that a word?

Yeah, guys, it shouldn't be.

It might be an oxymor.
