This is Marianne Sullivan.

And this week we're going to be talking to Dr. Zach Burns, who practices family medicine

in the wonderful city of Rochester, New York, and who works with moving medicine

forward to bring more plant-based lifestyle education to medical schools around the country.

And he is just so cool.

He's an animal rights vegan, which he is not shy about talking about.

I think he is not only the real

deal, but I think he's going to be kind of the face of the medical side of the plant-based

movement moving forward. Yeah, I loved this interview. He seems like a great guy. And I think he,

I mean, I think he will be an important face. But I think he also,

and he points out himself, like there are a lot of up-and-coming people in this world who are going to be

providing more and more leadership on teaching people how to keep themselves healthy with food. Yeah.

And that is, and as you say, it's not just about health for him. It's also about the animals. It's about the climate. Big picture. Great guy. He's going to be my doctor. I was going to say you have like an appointment to see him. Yeah, I do. That's so cool. I hate my doc my current doctor. I hope she doesn't listen. She definitely doesn't. I really was so excited to find out about Zach, who just graduated

for medical school very recently. Well, no, no, he didn't just graduate. He just finished his residency

very recently. Yeah, big distinction. So, yeah, I do want to get to that, but there were a few things

we wanted to chat about first. I wanted to tell you a story. I haven't actually told you yet.

And it's just because I know that
