Welcome to Kefaru Cast. Today we will be talking about photography. This is about my

0:06.6

third or fourth go-around trying to do this this morning. We've had some

0:10.8

happenings at Kefaru that have required some of my attention as well as Frank's.

0:17.6

Frank, I'm rocking the Mike Solo. Frank's finishing up on some paperwork on his end.

0:21.6

But again, we're gonna do this in three parts. Part one is going to be on gear.

0:27.0

Basically, different cameras I've used, different lenses, some of the different

0:32.7

attachment systems, things like that. So one of the biggest questions I get is

0:38.8

what camera I'm using now and why. And I guess I'm using a Nikon D850, which is

0:46.8

one of their newest cameras out. I have multiple different lenses. I'll go over

0:51.1

that in a minute. But obviously why? Well, some of you know and I'm sure a lot of

0:58.0

you don't know. But I went through just about every camera known to man. You know,

1:02.6

in the last five years I started off with a crop sensor, micro-four thirds type of

1:07.2

cameras, which means an easiest way to explain it. I guess if the sensor was the

1:11.6

size of your cell phone on a like a full frame DSLR on a crop or micro-four third

1:19.4

sensor, it's 75% smaller than that cell phone or that standard sensor size on

1:26.2

like a full frame. And so with the micro-four thirds or the crop sensors that I

1:31.8

used, that was when I was just getting into it, you know, running everything on

1:35.6

auto and not really knowing what tele- was doing. And you know, they're not as good

1:40.9

at low light, but crop sensor, micro-four thirds are a great option. A lot of

1:45.1

people use those. So I went from using several of those several Sony's. I had an

1:50.4

Olympus ODE and one I believe it was called. And then I got kind of speed through

1:57.3

this. So I don't bounce around too much. I got a Canon, I guess it'd be a 6D,
