| 0:00.0 | Welcome to caffaro cast everyone. I'm riding solo for the next little bit Frank managed to download a virus on his brand new computer so they're fixing it right now Frank. |
| 0:10.0 | What do you have to say about that? |
| 0:12.0 | Fuck! |
| 0:13.0 | Frank got a new Mac and it's already got a virus. Probably looking at one of those websites that we should not talk about. |
| 0:23.0 | Actually, what were you doing Frank? You were downloading software for his trackpad. |
| 0:30.0 | So anyway, today we're going to talk about a little bit about caffaro and some of the changes that have happened in the last five or six years. Why those changes have happened the direction of the company. |
| 0:43.0 | Just things like that we get a lot of questions about. |
| 0:47.0 | Not a lot, but we do get some comments about why we've stopped making some products. |
| 0:52.0 | Some pockets, things like that. And the easiest explanation is we do like money and if they were selling well we would have kept selling them. |
| 1:02.0 | But we want to go into it more than that so people understand. |
| 1:05.0 | So when I started, I guess six years ago here, not working full time, but helping out. |
| 1:15.0 | I had the big concern that I had foreseen and talked with Patrick about was the drawdown of, you know, the largest drawdown in US history basically. |
| 1:27.0 | We've been at war for free 10, 15 years, whatever it was and that was going away. Obama was in office and the military sales weren't there. |
| 1:38.0 | And at that time when I started, I think hunting was about 3% maybe of the total sales of caffaro tactical was 70 or 80 and then you know, teepees, things like that. |
| 1:49.0 | But you know, just breaking it down numbers wise that one of the first things, you know, we did once things got rolling was look at what products sold, how many sold per month, how many sold per year. |
| 2:01.0 | And kind of assess what we wanted to keep from that. |
| 2:05.0 | One of the one things that I liked or the ideas I had or liked was, you know, rather than selling 100 pockets and selling, you know, whatever $10,000 worth of those pockets. |
| 2:18.0 | You know, pulling these numbers out of my ass a month, you know, why don't we sell 15 pockets and sell 50,000 dollars of those pockets or whatever I'm just hypothetically. |
| 2:28.0 | But, you know, the other thing we noticed was we had a lot of, you know, tier one groups, people type of people coming in and that thousand D was not really something they wanted everything they asked for was 500 D. |
| 2:44.0 | I was a fan of 500 D as well. |
| 2:47.0 | And then just sales when we would offer a few different pockets, packs, things like that of 1000 compared to 500. |
| 2:54.0 | It was literally 30 to 1 500 D being the victor. |
