God has given us tools in His Word to overcome this disappointment.

One of those tools is the Book of Philippians.

It is full of principles for living a victorious Christian life.

It also contains practical advice for everyday living, and most of all, it's a book about joy.

Be encouraged as Joyce teaches from Philippians, chapter by chapter, and guides us deeper into the Word.

Now, here's Joyce with today's teaching.

Well, you need to be under leadership that cares about you.

People who really love you, who pray for you, who really want to see you be the person that God wants you to be.

Amen.

And if you're not under that kind of leadership, I'd keep looking until I found somebody that was not just going to tell me what to do, but it was going to love me.

Amen.

And it is my prayer that your love may abound, or we're going to talk about that.

And that you may approve what is excellent.

We're going to talk about that.

And be pure and blameless till the day of Christ.

That's another message.

Filled with the fruits of righteousness that come through Jesus Christ to the glory and the praise of God.
