It's just a house, right?

That's what Michelle McClain Woods thought when she and her husband moved into a fixer

upper in 2015.

As they slowly began to make their house their home

they'd slowly learn that the previous owner may still actually be there

and she may not actually like the changes that Michelle and her husband were making to the

property. Would they ever make peace with the entity who liked her way of doing

things versus the new young couples? Today we hear the story of life in the house and

investigating the dead with Michelle McLean Woods on the grave talks.

Well my interest started when I actually moved into a house that was haunted.

We had bought a house in 2015, and we started remodeling it.

And we started having some activities, some

paranormal activities happening. We heard footsteps. We had some different

smells. I remember smelling cookies baking and when we moved in the stove didn't even work for

like the first six months we lived there and so I would snow cookies baking like

in the middle of the night when I got up to use the restroom and I would hear footsteps

upstairs. We actually lived in the basement since we were remodeling the upstairs first and my husband at the time was having things happen to him and he was telling me about

them and I was just like what are you talking about you know I didn't really believe in that back then. I was a skeptic and so I was just like okay you know whatever and then when when things start happening to me I was like, hmm, okay, he might be onto something here. And so looking at the history of the house, there was a woman that, an elderly woman that passed away in the house and before we, well several years before we bought it and so we kind of thought well you know

that might have something to do with it and we had a friend who was a psychic medium coming into the house and we didn't tell her any of the history of the house and she walked around the house and she was telling us, you know, that there was a woman that died there and she actually showed us the room

that she got in and it wasn't the master bedroom but it was a different bedroom and

I always thought that bedroom had like a different feeling to it.
