Today, or should I say tonight, I am talking about period sex.

I'm also talking a little bit about our cycle as women and about my own experience

and history with my cycle and my menstrual blood. This podcast isn't just for women though.

This is for men. I'm super passionate about educating both women and men on these topics.

Because, yes, a big part of my audience is women.

But I don't think men get educated enough about this stuff and it's not your fault, guys.

It's just because there's so much stuff geared towards women in this arena.

And so I'm always thinking about how I can educate more men and I always want to be really inclusive for the men

who are listening. Plus, with this particular topic, I feel like, yes, a lot of women are in touch

with their cycle and understand it, but lots of men don't. I mean, yes, there's those who do.

That's awesome. But for the men who don't, I mean, yes, there's those who do. That's awesome.

But for the men who don't, this is an opportunity for you to learn a little more about how our cycle works and why period sex is so sacred and why our blood is so sacred.

So, yeah, I'm really excited about this topic and this

episode. I guess I've decided to do it today because I literally started bleeding about

two hours ago. And so I'm officially on day one of my cycle. I thought there's no better time for me to record a podcast about period sex and menstruation

other than when I'm bleeding myself because it means that I can really deliver this from an authentic space

and yeah, deliver it saying, look, I'm bleeding and this is how I'm

feeling so a little bit about my history because I always like to be really honest and open with

you guys about what's going on for me personally and how I relate to whatever I'm talking about.
