Just a short while ago, I was enjoying the upside and the downside of living where we live,

reality in Maryland. No, not at all. That's the upside. The downside, I was walking through that wooded trail that I so enjoy, and for whatever reason

today the mosquitoes were having a feast on my legs and my neck.

I don't remember that in Maryland either. They should be gone. Whatever mosquitoes do in the cold months, they should be doing. Instead, they're still eating and sucking my blood.

So I saw a post recently on the Start Today Facebook group,

and if you're not familiar, the Today Show has been, for most of this year, encouraging and motivating people to pursue fitness primarily through

centers around the activity of walking. And there's this group, the Start Today, Facebook group that has, I don't know how many tens of thousands of members now, over 90,000. And you join the group and you ask questions, you can express disappointment and challenges and people encourage you for the most part.

And somebody recently posted, and I forget the exact language, but essentially it was a reminder that

what you're doing by walking every day is inspiring others.
