As we get closer to training camp opening for the Caps, we continue our look around the Metro Division. And if you hated the look at the New York, New Jersey metropolitan area teams with the Islanders and Rangers, you're really going to hate the Pennsylvania version today. Brian McNally, we look at the Penguins and the Flyers. We're just trolling the Caps base here, but giving you some good insight, too.

Yeah, I think penguins, I have a lot of questions. Obviously, Crosby-Malkin, we know the

superstars, but what's behind them and how good, you know, is age going to creep up on that team?

It is time for another edition of the Kaps talk podcast, and today we look at the Pennsylvania

teams.

We'll start with Pittsburgh Penguins because for the better part of a decade and a half, if you're

talking about OV and the Caps, you're talking about Sidney Crosby and the Penguins,

and right now, you'd have to look and say the caps have been through all the wars and are still ready for more. Whereas you look at the penguins and you go, I don't know how much is left in the tank at this point. Yeah, the sweep to the Islanders in the first round last year. They finished, I keep forgetting this. They finished third in the division. The Islanders were second, not the penguins. Start to think about things when you're an older team and that stuff starts happening. So still, Crosby is still at the top of his game. But I'm intrigued about what direction that team. It's trending down and, you know, they got to find a way to stop that. So we're going to

talk with Josh Yoey of the Atlantic who has covered this team for a long time. And as you'll hear

in this interview, I think there was a moment McNally when you looked at me and you raised your eyebrows

and you'll hear it. He'll say, if this team doesn't make the playoffs, it wouldn't shock me.

Right.

And that shocked me that a guy that close to that team, that organization with that player,

is starting to say, it might be the end of the window for this team.
