We wrap up our previews today around the Metropolitan Division as we take a look at Carolina and Columbus.

Brian McNally, two teams in different places, although two fan bases that could both say we should be or could be in the mix.

The interesting thing about Carolina is for all those, I'd say the last three years or so when they were sort of the IT team every off season. And I was like, nope, I'm not buying it. I'm not buying it. I don't believe they're young, they're small, they're young, there's no toughness there. They're always making, they're always trading good young players away. I'm not fully invested. I don't know that they could do what they did again last year, but it's a pretty good team.

It's a pretty good team.

We saw it in the first round.

Like the caps were holding on by their fingernails, right?

And a couple of those games in Raleigh, that fan base has rejuvenated.

They kept Sebastian Aho around after the offer sheet from Montreal.

A lot of good young talent.

I think I'm buying more than selling on Carolina that they could be back in the playoffs

and a force all year.
