The young man stood beside the coffin that held his mother. His shackles rustled as he put his hand on the wooden box and he swore revenge.

A judge had granted the young man a reprieve to attend his mother's funeral after she had been brutally murdered and dismembered with a machete.

As he traveled back to the prison, he formulated a plan to get to her murderer, his first step to find his own father who had been brought to the same prison.

Once he located his dad's empty cell, he slipped in and waited for his father to come back.

When his dad returned, the son stood up to greet him and then took out a knife and stabbed his father 22 times.

Why? Because it was his father who killed the young man's mother and stabbing made sense to the young man because to him, it most closely resembled how his father killed his mother.

But it failed to calm the vengeful feelings running through him. So that young man, Pedro Rodriguez Filiol, then carved out his father's heart.

He cut off the tip, chewed it and then threw it onto his father's dead body.

This was not, however, Pedro's first murder and it was not his last, but out of the around 77 murders that he committed, it is definitely the most well known.
