| 0:00.0 | Welcome back to Lenton Rouge Cycling Podcast for the doubleheader recap of Paranise and Torreno Adriatico. |
| 0:05.5 | We have a team time trial in Paranese, a very technical one. We can't wait to discuss it. |
| 0:11.0 | And then a big boy sprint to start in an absolutely flat stage in Torano Adriatico. |
| 0:16.8 | We'll lead off with Paranese. Benji, recap the rules for us. |
| 0:22.1 | What are the special rules for the Paranese TTs? |
| 0:25.1 | So to be clear, from the top of my head, in the past in cycling, there was also always |
| 0:30.0 | the case that team time travels, obviously you start with your team, not individually. |
| 0:35.9 | And by the finish line, it would be the fourth orfour-to-fifth rider that has changed every |
| 0:40.4 | now and then in the past already. |
| 0:42.1 | The time of the four-for-to-fifth rider would count for the riders that cross the line in |
| 0:47.4 | the first group. |
| 0:48.7 | So for, I'm explaining this horribly, aren't I? |
| 0:51.0 | So, for example, team time trial in 2019. Team starts time trial. |
| 0:56.8 | Throughout the time trial, riders drop off. You need to finish with X amount of riders, for example, |
| 1:03.0 | four riders, because it would be the time of the fourth rider that counts for those four riders |
| 1:07.6 | that cross the finish line. If, let's say, a domestic drops early in the time trial |
| 1:12.6 | and is not part of those four riders, |
| 1:13.6 | they'd get their own time, having lost time to the rest of your team. |
| 1:16.6 | That's kind of the old vibe of the team time trial. |
| 1:19.6 | The new team time trial, and I gotta say, |
| 1:21.6 | spoilers already, I kinda like it, |
| 1:24.6 | is that it's basically as simple as the individual time counts, right? |
