written by one bong June ho which you might recognize as the director and

writer of the host mother Mother, Seafog, Achaw, perhaps Snowpiercer, might be a title that a lot of Western audiences are familiar with.

He wrote this film, he directed it, he won some Oscars. Jim. I knew nothing about

this movie other than, I thought it was a Korean horror film when I was going in to watch this movie

Cessley wanted to watch it because she had she's become a

Bong Junhoo disciple recently and I was completely blown away. I staggered

out of that movie theater like the hell that I just watch. Did you have any

expectations? What was your first watch like, etc, etc?

I thought this was going to be Korean knives out and so I was like surprised at what I actually ended up getting because I don't think there are actually all that many similarities other than a than a rich family and poorer servants being in the film.

Other than that, I don't think there's a lot to compare here.

Because it does seem like they're both essentially black comedies,

at least a large part of the structure.

They're also somewhat a somewhat, they're not a somewhat, they're explicitly a social the critique of you know social

stratification and the hazards to have nots and the attitudes that are

kind of between there crossing personal lines, crossing professional lines.
