Jim and I went back way back into the classics to cover the 1974

American Mystery Thriller film written produced and directed by one Francis Ford Coppola. Let me tell you the ties in this movie they are

fat and they are frequently Paisley. This movie is went head to head up against Copala's other class at the godfather too at the Oscars and got its ass handed to it

But it's rocking an impressive 98% fresh on rotten tomatoes and it gets a lot of love amongst the film

intelligentsia. Lots of critical of. I like I admired this movie but did not enjoy the experience of watching it.

Jim what did you think of this movie?

Hmm. I'm curious to dig into what you mean by that because I I think I know but I'm not totally sure

I actually really enjoyed watching this movie

It's it's Francis Ford Coppola who is one of in my opinion the greatest filmmakers of all time and this I don't think is like Godfather level.

Uh-huh. Yeah, but this movie is not Godfather level, but it is up there. It's really, really good in my opinion.

Yeah, I mean The Godfather is one of my favorite movies and it's one that I've seen

dozens of times and I can definitely see the copula DNA here the long takes the very absorbing and like you know like I

if you like in Better Call Saul like watching Mike just dick around with something for 15

minutes and not really know what he's doing to slowly kind of come to conclusion of what he is in fact doing

then this is 75% that.

And I could, like, what I mean by I admire it more than I like it,

I can see everything that he's doing here.

I can see the tension that he's building.

I can see the, you know, what's been described as the voyeuristic

...
