When we last left the Walking Dead, we burnt that bridge down as thoroughly as we possibly could,

leaving no uncertainty about us ever coming back or this show ever being worth covering,

ever, ever again.

And nothing has changed.

It just turns out that bridge was built of cold rolled steel and to our shock, years later,

the skeleton of that bridge still standing.

And with the actual boring non-zombic

apocalypse dropping new and returning shows left and right, we've decided to

cross this rickety-ass thing and see if any of the fans left want to follow us.

Plus, we've heard it's kind of good, it's better, more entertaining.

Yeah, I'll be the judge of that.

So on that note, this is our formal announcement that we will be resuming our uncompromising, hard-hitting, take no prisoners.

No, wait, actually we should take prisoners.

Oh, well, they just killed off somebody that we love.

So we're back to taking no prisoners approach

to the Walking Dead as a return with coverage of season 9 episode 1

appropriately entitled a new beginning on June 9th, 2020.

That's right.

This summer will be doing our traditional episode by episode recap and review of each episode of

The Walking Dead in season 9.

Aron's seen the first two or three episodes way back when, but I'm going into this

blind. Is Rick even still alive? Is Carol still fucking around with the Tiger King?
