In this episode number 238, I'm chatting with singer songwriter J.J. Heller.

When we keep things locked up inside of our hearts, we can't heal.

And so I just love encouraging people to find one or two safe people in your life who you

can be totally, completely brutally honest with.

And then you'll find yourself getting a little bit stronger and that your fear or your

struggle or whatever it is that you're dealing with will have less power.

And then maybe you can look for somebody else to tell.

And then eventually you will stand back in amazement as you see God using your weakness,

your story of brokenness to bring healing and comfort to people all around you.

Because I think we so often believe the lie that we're alone and it's just not true.

J.J. speaking our language, guys, she's reminding us that it's so much better when we bring

these apparent weaknesses into the light and become a blessing to those around us.

And today, J.J. is inviting us in to some of her harder places, her struggle with fear,

panic attacks.

She's also going to share some apparent disappointments in her life that have been directional

in her career and where God's leading her next when it comes to balancing career and

family and how she's trusting God in that.

We're going to talk through some of the songs she's written, how God's led her to these

beautiful lullavies and how they've ministered to others.
