In this episode number 239, I get the pleasure of chatting with Vicki Courtney.

I feel like I'm one of these moms that I want to know the truth.

I want to know what I'm up against.

I'm going to go into this like it's a battle, and I'm going to do everything I can to

educate my children, to engage with my children in these necessary conversations.

But I'm also going to be willing to own it when I'm making stakes along the way, or I get

it wrong, and I have to go back and apologize.

So I'm going to show a level of humility.

I'm going to remind my children that I'm also a student here.

I'm learning to feel myself in many areas what grace looks like, what truth is in regard

to some things.

I'm always learning as a student of the Bible.

So we go into it with humility, with a lot of grace, and knowing that our kids aren't

going to always get it right, and they're not going to always listen to that conversation

we have, and then turn around and be super-Christian kid.

Vicki is a mom, a grandma, a speaker, and a best-selling author of several books and

Bible studies.

Today she's coming on the show because recently they released a revised and expanded version

of two of her books.
