It is supposed to be the first week of May, so we shouldn't really have expected hail, snow

You do have to feel sorry for all the pubs that had to close because the weather was simply too awful to serve people outside, even though he's willing to huddle together under umbrellas to drink their frozen drinks and eat their cold food. And in another blow to their businesses, hospitality bosses have lost their legal challenge to the government to reopen indoor dining faster than May the 17th.

As we were talking about there with Julia Hartley Brewer, they were seeking some assurance from the government that there was actually evidence that proved that opening pubs

indoors which they still have not done. Despite the fact that infection rates have hit

their lowest figure for eight months and yesterday there was only one death from COVID registered,

MPs are now joining the clamour to move everything along faster. It is time to get on with it.

My definition of whether a lockdown works or not is whether it works for everybody, and it certainly does not work for everybody.
