So mind you, it was one thing to have postpartum depression and anxiety, and then you got a fussy baby.

So I'm constantly worried.

And my husband kept saying, I've never seen you like this.

God's story has been unfolding.

Since the beginning of time.

He invites you to be a part of it.

Hi, this is Meredith Foster.

Sparkle Sanders was driven to succeed in everything she did.

She found peace when she could check every box,

obey all the rules, when she felt in control,

one of her greatest fears was failure. Well, if there's ever a scenario that challenges our illusion of control or makes us feel like a failure, it's parenthood. So when Sparkle became a

mom, it didn't look anything like what she expected. Every day was hard. Nothing was going, right? Everything seemed to scream. She was failing.

I have always been a Christian. Grew up in a household where my mom, I mean, we started talking to Jesus at an early age. I have grown up in church and knowing about Jesus all my life.

I can say in my natural state, in my personality type, I can be a perfectionist. That's always

been there. So whatever I do, I'm going to try to do it to the highest level, even serving God,

even serving Jesus. I think I really had a perfectionist attitude towards him that I can only go to him a

certain way. I'm pretty structured and routine. And so I structured in routine God. I get up.
