I didn't want to leave anything.

I didn't not believe.

I just kind of didn't put any effort.

God's story has been unfolding.

Since the beginning of time.

He invites you to be a part of it.

Yeah. in the unfolding. Hi, this is Meredith Foster. If you follow Jesus, it's not unusual to go through times when you

feel closer to God or just simply feel his love more readily. And then times when God feels

distant. When Tracy Hoth first met Jesus, it was fun and dynamic. Her life changed almost

overnight. But as the years went by, faith seemed more like a responsibility than a relationship.

She wished for more, but I had no idea how to make that happen.

So I grew up in church, and when I was 23, out of college, a friend invited me to move to California

with her family. So I thought, I'm unattached. I need to do something crazy. And I moved to

California and lived with her family. And a lady there, after two weeks, just asked me if I moved to California and lived with her family and a lady there after two

weeks just asked me if I wanted to be disciples. I had no idea what that meant. This was a family

friend. Were you spiritually inclined at that point? Or were you interested in faith at that point?

No, not at all. You think maybe she thought you needed to be?
