You're in your early 30s with stage four cancer and a treatment plan that doesn't seem to be working.

Is it possible to walk that journey and still say it is well with my soul? That's been the

challenge for Megan Thompson. How do you face physical hardship, bitter disappointment, and not get

angry with God? And if you do get angry, can you still maintain faith? Here's Megan. So tell me a little bit

about your story then. So you were newlyweds?

Yeah.

So we got married in 2012.

And then in 2014, I started having some like chest pain.

And my family is a really bad history of heart issues.

And so we thought it was a heart issue. And so I had a ton of cardiovascular

testing done. Nothing came back negative. Everything came back perfect. I'm a runner. So the only thing

that they noticed is I have an extremely low heart rate, but nothing seemed to be wrong with my heart.

So we had no idea it was going on. I was still having the pain in my left

chest area and we couldn't figure out what it was. My sister, my youngest sister got married.
