Have you ever stacked up all the logical reasons why something just wouldn't work on one side?

And then on the other side, all you had was this gut feeling, this sense that God is calling you to do that thing anyway.

That's exactly where Darren and Sarah Claire found themselves a few years ago. They were in their 40s. Sarah had had some health issues.

They were just a few years away from the empty nest. These were all great reasons to maintain status

quo. And yet God was compelling them to do something that didn't seem to make sense.

Here are Darren and Sarah. When we met and then soon got married after, we always knew we wanted

to have children. That was our hope. I had a history of endometriosis and several surgeries

to try to deal with the pain from that. And we had discussed that even at that

point of adoption if we weren't able to have our children. We were totally fine with that if we

needed to adopt. But like many people, we're also hoping to have biological children. And so then

I had another surgery and then we were

blessed with our son. When Dylan was four years old, we again, we're in that situation when

not knowing if we could have another child. There's no guarantees. And so then we looked into

fostering at that time in hopes to adopt. Specifically foster to adopt. We weren't looking to be

foster parents. We weren't to adopt. That's right. And so we met with a pastor and he explained to us how

the process works and that you're really hoping to reunite this child back with their biological
