With about 400,000 followers on TikTok, it's fair to say Olivia Lane's story has

attracted a lot of attention. She's been very open about the supernatural experience that convinced her, an atheist, that God is real. Today, she's using her gifts of singing, songwriting, and acting to share her story and encourage others to give Jesus a chance. But four years ago, Olivia would never have believed

the story that has unfolded for her. As a teenager, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career

in acting, and then came a country music career. She was always burdened with an internal drive

to prove herself, but no amount of success was enough to quiet the inner critic.

I grew up in Houston, Texas, and it was a wonderful childhood. The house I grew up in was just

picturesque and dreamy, and I just loved all of my friends. And the community was pretty tight-knit.

I would say I grew up in the suburbs,

kind of like everybody was on the same soccer teams, the same basketball teams. Everybody kind of went to the same churches. And that kind of describes me growing up in the church when I was

really young. It was kind of somewhere that we would go on Sundays, somewhere to go on Wednesdays,

if my friends were going. And faith during that time in my life

wasn't really talked about at home. And it wasn't really something that led my nuclear family life.

I would categorize, I guess, myself as maybe like a Christmas and Easter kind of Christian at that time.
