Pit boss Bliss is here to introduce us to the Formula One coming to Vegas, but first, a note about

my favorite robot in Las Vegas, the sphere. Jeff, everything about the sphere is charming,

including his ability to generate an eye that watches the Formula One race that's about to take place.

But you tell me there's been a negative story. What kind of negative? Good evening to you, Jeff.

Good evening, John. The sphere, which is just an incredible venue. I've been to it several times inside and out. It's hard to explain it fully. It's just magnificent is the best word I can think of. But it is running a losing streak in terms of money right now. People are willing to look by it a little bit because it's early on still in the game. It's a little over a year old.

But they're looking at a loss of 12. I'm sorry, 125.1 million for the quarter and 507 million

for the last 12 months. So, you know, being that big in the red, that long is kind of tough.

Now, they're adjusting that because of the money that was spent over

$100 million to try to get into London, which was unsuccessful. But the sphere really does need to kind of

pump up its money-making. They have these residences by certain big bands, and they show movies

in there that are very high-priced. But they're going to be digging here in a bit to try to make up some more money because they've got quite a

deficit.

What can he do?

He works 24 hours a day.

Yeah, that's a good question.

You know, I've heard that they want to try to open it up to more sporting events.

They had a very, they had a very good reception, went to their staging of martial arts,

mixed martial arts, or boxing, and they think that could be also the future.

Formula One, the first year was an adventure.

It was not part of the contest for being the best driver of the year.

It was afterwards in my memory.
