The search has been on all week.

I want to recover the numbers we had as of last Friday.

The FBI vetted list of 388 people missing within hours of our putting that number up.

The report was 100 had contacted officials to say they were safe.

Leaving as of earlier this week, 110 missing person reports have been filed with the Maui police.

50 of those were still open cases as of midweek.

Right now, approximately, how many are missing not found and worried about?

We're still talking about somewhere between 200 and 300 plus people that are missing.

We don't have an exact number because they still feel there are some people out there.

They're making a distinction between not hearing from people and not knowing where people are.

I know that's in strange, but they'll hear from people who say, yeah, I saw so and so up on the north shore.

I'll get them to get in contact with you and that kind of changes the situation.

But what you have to realize is an affordable catastrophe like this where there's the forces of nature and the situation is exacerbated by man's problems.

It creates such a firestorm, literally a storm unto itself that burns so hot that it leaves in some cases nothing.
