All year, Jeff and I cover stories in California that are unhappy-making.

San Francisco and the homeless or the politics of Sacramento are doubts about the snow and

the winter just behind us and what does El Nino mean.

Now we're going to look at July 4th in California for the first summer, completely free of

the pandemic, completely free of doubts about the recovery we're doing just fine.

No mass to be seen, I believe.

So I'm checking on Jeff's monitoring of the celebration in California to Yosemite Park.

What does it look like on the 4th of July week?

It's a week.

It was left Friday and they won't be back till, well, I don't know they're coming back,

but they're theoretically due on Wednesday.

It looks amazing.

We were down there this morning and earlier the morning, really before you think the

crowds are getting there and there are already tens of thousands.

I've checked some cameras since then and you know, you have packed beaches in Laguna and
