Earlier this week, we lost legend Dr. Fred Hatfield.

Better known to some as Dr. Squat, Hadfield served as inspiration and knowledge for those of us in the strength community.

To say that Dr. Hadfield was a gifted lifter would be an understatement, and to say that he was an incredible human, an insult.

Frederick was raised an orphan from his birth until he was 18,

then he joined the Marine Corps, and later he earned his PhD in motor learning.
