This is the Friendsfisture Debating Society. I'm John Batchew with my very good friend and colleague, Jeremy Zagas.

I'm feeling guilty about trash talking to English, but really, you send an army of redcoats to attack George Washington and what's left of the colonial army, and you expect us to take up cricket as an entertainment?

I don't know.

That seems a stretch, Jeremy.

The English always wanted to spread the word, and by spreading cricket, there's still a global power.

But we come to Dallas, the Spoodle, and his family's families of birds.

Now, it's midwinter, it's cold, even birds get chilly, and they don't migrate, I learned from you in New South Wales.

So how's Dallas doing with the magpie family, the crows circling around always watching,

and his other characters? Are they all there? Well, I can report, John, they are all there.

And I guess just like English are a global power, Dallas seems to be a bit of a neighborhood

power because even though it's so cold and it is really, really not good weather for birds,

they tend to sleep later and only come out in the sun and just hang out in their trees rather

than tend to roam. I can now report that the magpies, the Karawongs and even the crows are all

back out again. The magpies are coming back and landing on our our backyard as dallas heads outside for

his morning treats and basically his morning sniff about and then normally within maybe even two

to three minutes after the magpie family so we have all three magpies still there mama papa and

well not a little baby magpie anymore junior is now actually almost a full-sized adult.

Only three minutes later, you'll tend to see the carolongs will swoop in as well.

And Dallas treats them just the same.

He allows them to sort of bounce around with his toys.

The carolongongs are now actually coming and sitting up on our barbecue,

which is right up against our wall near our kitchen window.
