Brisbane north of Jeremy along the Queensland coast, the Gold Coast, seems to be enduring the toughest

weather that everyone's seeing, lots of rain, lots of wind, and now cyclones.

Yes, cyclones, unfortunately are a very common occurrence, especially as we get past the middle of summer

here in Australia, we start to get into a period where basically all that built up energy,

all that built up moisture in the system in the northern parts of Australia

start to manifest in these very violent storm systems,

which are the cyclones.

And the cyclones here in Australia are relatively predictable.

So far as you know, it's going to be this time of year.

They're normally coming in from the northeast to cross Queensland or they're normally coming in

kind of in the Darwin type territory across from the north and they'll only hit up there.
