This is the Friends of History Debating Society. I'm John Batcheter with Jeremy Zuckus whose feet

are in the water right now because it's raining so much in New South Wales. However, what

I've learned is that rain, actually snakes are delicate creatures.

When it's too hot, they run.

When it's too wet, they run.

When it's just right, they poke around. So So Jeremy, it's time to check on the snakes of

New South Wales and Queensland. Now I'm going to start with the wrestling pythons.

Where is that? This John is again in Queensland and

this this in particular is a Queensland golf course in the main city of

Brisbane so it's not even out in the sticks I guess can say it's actually in a

major suburb and what's happening here is something we've talked about

before is is that pythons have this in name ability to have some sportsmanship

they have some sport prowess about them and one

thing they love to do is to wrestle and it's not wrestling to the death it's

wrestling to find a victor and the victor of course pushes the pythons head down

and says loser you've lost I've won I'm now the best snake on the block

the only problem this time John is during the week these two Python's decided to do it on a very

very popular Brisbane golf course but the funny thing is it seems

that the golf is on the golf course are kind of used to it because what's now

circulating in social media is this wonderful footage of these two pythons in our safe pythons being over 7 to 8 foot long

these are fully grown pythons wrestling only meters away from a man who has set up

himself at the professional tea ready to go and he proceeds to just
