0:24.5	a whole life insurance strategy that my mentor and dear friend Nelson Nash introduced to me.
0:32.5	Nelson Nash was one of those extraordinary individuals that when you first meet, you think he's a small man
0:41.4	by stature, southern gentleman, very sweet, very nice, and, you know, not necessarily a powerhouse,
0:50.8	like someone like a Tony Robbins. He was just a really sweet, nice southern gentleman
0:56.2	who has impacted the lives of thousands and thousands of individuals, families, business owners,
1:05.7	real estate investors, and in fact, I think is responsible for tens of billions of dollars of whole life insurance
1:14.3	being sold today. Remarkable life that he had. And I'm here to share a little bit about him,
1:21.9	how I met him, my relationship with him, and what he taught me that made such an incredible impact on my life
1:31.1	and the lives of my clients and my team members and other professionals that I work with.
1:37.6	So to start, Nelson Nash for college, went to forestry school, got a degree in forestry,
1:43.0	which is a very unusual degree,
1:44.9	at least for today, in a society where getting a pizza in 30 minutes or less isn't fast enough,
1:51.4	right? When you want to eat pizza, you want to eat it now. When you want to buy something from
1:54.9	Amazon, you're disappointed when it's not going to arrive, you know, in the next two to four hours
2:00.5	and it has to arrive tomorrow the next day. So forestry is to arrive, you know, in the next two to four hours and it has to
2:01.1	arrive tomorrow the next day. So forestry is all about, you know, planting seeds for trees that you
2:07.9	will reap the benefit, the profit of, maybe decades down the road. So Nelson thought very, very
2:14.6	different. He looked at the world very different. He was amazing student of life, of
2:22.2	economics, the Bible, of spiritual concepts, of politics. He was a voracious reader, always, always
