So the Epistle of St. James is itself an interesting case and will sort of set the tone for what we're going to have to do with each of

these. In the sense that we have, from the first moment it shows up, right, this epistle is

stated to be from St. James, the brother of the Lord.

And one of the reasons why that's important and why I emphasize that is there's a whole

bunch of other saints James, even in the New Testament, right?

Even in the New Testament itself.

So that identification is made specifically.

It's identified as coming from a specific St. James

for the first time we have it identified.

And the reason there's so many, by the way,

is that through a weird linguistic,

etymological turn of events,

the name Jacob

got turned into James in English.

And someone,

I heard someone who had a good theory.

I used to say,

I've never heard anyone
