Okay, we'll go ahead and get started.

And when we get started, we're starting at the very beginning of the epistle of St. James.

So last time I gave my big rambly introduction to the general epistles,

followed by my big rambly introduction to the general epistles, followed by my big rambly introduction to

the epistle of St. James, which two rambles encompass the entire Bible study. So we're

actually going to get into the text of the epistle tonight. And so because of that, I'm not

going to spend a ton of time rehashing, again,

that introduction. By the time people are listening to this online, at least, they'll be able to go

back and listen to that, as much as they like at whatever speed they like. So all we'll say for

now is just real quickly, right?

As we talked about last time, the St. James, who's writing this, because there are a

bunch, because James is through a strange set of historical and linguistic circumstances,

the English version of Jacob.

So there's a bunch of them in the New Testament.
