I'm John Bryce of Football Scoop in Irish Illustrated.

And of course, our producer extraordinaire is Tom's

Willer. Drew, just your initial immediate thoughts on the game. Another, what I thought was a workman-like

methodical victory for Notre Dame. Yeah, I think it's the type of performance we saw a little bit more

from Notre Dame last year. They give up 4.4 yards per play, which is the lowest they've given up

or allowed this season, actually after Miami, which is the lowest they'd given up, are allowed this season, actually after

Miami, which is just under five. So I think you saw a little bit of a gritty defensive performance.

You still have the explosive plays on offense. They ran the clock a lot. And I mean, the worst thing

is that they just got penalized a lot, and that is something they really had to overcome.

I think that is probably the biggest thing they're going to need to clean up from this.

I'm sure we'll get to that more going forward.

But yeah, just kind of a gritty performance and they covered the spread at the end of the day.

Despite so many mistakes, I believe it was 20 and a half coming into this and they went by 21.

Yeah, you're right.

It might have moved to 21 and a half in some different lines, but I saw it very consistently, 20 and a half.

Remember, it opened at around 15 and a half.
