So Jay, it is joy to have you with me today on this podcast and let's start from the beginning. How was your life like growing up?

You grew up with the dad, from law or just with your mom.

How was life like growing young?

I grew up with my mom, my grandpa, and an uncle and not with intellectual disabilities. And so just based on those details, it was a very complex household to grow up in, right?

My grandpa was sort of like my father figure, right? I kind of took him as that in a sense, but

there were a couple of men who found tremendous joy in exposing me to do something.

I'll never forget that feeling of just having your innocence taken away.

I remember I didn't understand the feeling and it was it wrecked me, but it was, I couldn't understand it because I was a child.

I don't remember the exact age I was.

I remember I never told my mom about it at the time.

They exposed me to pornography.

Okay.

And I remember they were just laughing out of pure joy watching me enjoy it because that was their motive

and that just brought them so much joy and that was sort of the first thing that were at

pornography was sort of brought into my life and then moving forward within the I, is it okay if I give a little bit of context?

So in the colony lifestyle, in the Mennonite colony, it's very religiously strict.

So it's like, don't do this, don't do that, don't have a phone, don't watch movies, don't do this, right?

And so everybody does all the things you're not supposed to do, but they just do them in secret.
