Hebrews chapter 7, verse 25.

Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him,

since he always lives to make intercession for them. Is that not an amazing phrase that

Jesus lives to make intercession for all those who know him as Savior and Lord. Think about what that means. Specifically here in the

context in Hebrews chapter 7, it's talking about how Jesus is the great high priest whose blood is

sufficient to cover over all our sins. Just let that soak in in a fresh way today that when you trust in Jesus,

you are no longer counted, guilty before God for sin. You are clothed in the righteousness of Jesus.

He is our intercessor. He stands in the righteousness of Jesus. He is our intercessor.

He stands in the gap for us and covers over our sins so that we have a wide open invitation.

To be with God, to walk with God, to live in the worship of God, in the presence of God at all times,

because Jesus is our intercessor. And then you think about what this means as we walk through

all kinds of challenges in this world, to rest in the reality. Think about it. Where is Jesus right now? He's at the right

hand of the Father, interceding for us. This is what Romans chapter 8 says, that Jesus is at the

Father's right hand, interceding for everything we need.

I don't know what you need today.

I obviously don't know all that you're walking through, but I do know this.

Jesus, the great high priest who has paid the price to cover all your sins,

is at the right hand of the Father, living to intercede for you, to provide for

everything you need today. Oh, you and I can take on anything today, no matter what this

world throws at us if we believe that Jesus is living right now and at every moment to intercede for us.

So, God, we praise you for this reality.
