It was already a ruin when he started. We don't know what it was a ruin of, possibly a Roman or three Roman temple.

Something, there was already some kind of structure on the mountain that Raymond fortified.

What would you, if you were to guess, would you say pre-Roman or Roman temple?

Roman era, local pagan temple? Yeah, I mean, the mountain's super powerful. I mean, the moment you cross into supernatural territory, it does feel like Glastonbury to the power of 100.

This week, we welcome to the show Richard Stanley.

Richard is, I would say, best known as a filmmaker and documentary producer, but he is also an adventurer and a grail seeker, and most recently an author, an author of Otoran Grail Hunter,

which we will be, of course, discussing in this episode. Now, I realize at one point, Richard and I are talking about a really high strange event

that happened to him famously on his first visit to Monsagu many, many years ago.

I've seen them way back in the day when they came out

about this event and about Montseguer and so on, because we talk about it and then carry on

the discussion about Rahn and the Grail and so now the whole event is described in tremendous

detail in the book. So I'm just going to point you in a couple of directions to some of the previous documentary work and to, of course, the book that we are discussing in this episode.
