I will always remember this time when I got a free upgrade.

By the way, can we just speak a free upgrades for a moment?

I'm always like, yes.

I joke with my husband.

I used to think that the most beautiful words in the English language where I love you.

But now I'm like, it's you've been upgraded.

Upgrades are so awesome. But because of this upgrade I managed to sit next to a gentleman in the business class section of a decent length flight. It was from LA to New York. And of course I'm one of those people

who likes to chat to the people next to me. Gosh, I'd be like, wow, I don't want a bump and

just sues you on a flight because some people are straight to you know earphones look down

don't make eye contact I'd like to have a conversation I love people I I also think

too that it's no accident who's sitting next to you and who knows who you might meet and look now I'm telling a story about someone that I met.

Let me tell you that this man, this was a few years ago, right? This man was very impressive. I could tell from how he spoke about his

businesses from the multiple homes that he owned he wasn't bragging but he was

talking to me about different parts of the country and then the size of his team.

And so he created a life that he was very, you know, proud of professionally.

But I could tell the man was stressed out and he was having an issue with his sister and we know as

we were chatting because they were on the phone he was on the phone with her as he got

on the plane and I could tell that there was some strain there and you know over the course of a few hours you know the food arrives we're still chatting.

He he opened up to me as like you know having some issues with my sister at the moment. She's going through something at work and she's just she's not taking my advice, like she needs to do what I say to get her out of her tricky situation.

And I said something along the lines of, you know, sometimes you can just listen.

Sometimes you don't always have to provide the perfect solution.
