Summary

Sleepovers can feel like a normal part of childhood—but are they wise? Adam and Chelsea share how their family has approached sleepovers, why their default has usually been “no,” and how they think about risk, wisdom, and discipleship in these decisions. Let this Mother’s Day be a reminder that she deserves care, too. 0:50.0

How have you handled sleepovers? Which, Chelsea, I actually really like the 15-year sleepover that we've had going.

1:29.2

Yeah, we're doing great. Yeah, ours is great. So we're going to go ahead and be like pro-sleepover. Yeah, pro-sleepover, not against it. Yeah, just for our family. Oh, but within the bounds of one long-term monogamous relationship that we would call a covenant marriage. Yes. Yeah, that's a good one. Critical. What if, let's just assume for a second, just to extent, because that's a quick answer. What if the question is about for kids? Oh, they're not talking about us being married. Yeah, probably not. 1:38.5

For Christians everywhere.

1:39.4

But I will tell you that we have reasonable reasons why we decided are we're going to handle sleepovers a certain way.

1:45.7

So, Chelsea, you want to get into it?
