This is Adam Griffin, and I am unfortunately not here with my co-hosts today.

Mrs. Cassie Bryant and Mrs. Chelsea Griffin both had other commitments this morning, but I am here

with a fantastic guest, a good man, a man who works in this space a lot and a man who I'm

looking forward to having this conversation with. Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Jared Kennedy is with us today. Jared, how are you? It's great to be here with you, Adam. I know Cassie really well, but I think this is our first time talking to each other. Yeah, Cassie wanted me to say hi. She had a staff meeting she couldn't break out of, but she is a big Jared Kennedy fan. So she was sad to miss. But I'm glad. I mean, I get to hog you all to myself. This is going to be great. That's great. Well, Jared, for those people who don't know you very well, maybe some of the listeners, you would be blessed to know that some of the things that Jared's worked on. He's written things like the beginner's gospel story Bible. God made me for worship. Jesus came for me. Jesus is bigger than me. The faith builder catechism, keeping your children's ministry on mission for those of you who are church workers. Jared thinks a lot about the space that we spend a lot of time thinking about, which is how churches and homes lead their families towards Jesus. But Jared, that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Would you tell us a little bit about what you do for a living, what you do with TGC, what your

family makeup is like, a little bit of your story of your family, and then anything else you'd

like to share with us as we jump into this conversation? Yeah, that's great. So currently I serve

as managing editor for books and curriculum for the gospel coalition.

And so I acquire books and edit books that are on art imprint as an organization.

And a big part of what we're trying to do is see the ancient gospel, you know, shared with the next generation.

And so that's a big part of my role at TGC.

I'm married to Megan. We have three daughters. Our oldest, Rachel, is 20, about to be a junior

in college at Kentucky. Our middle daughter, Lucy, is 18. And then our youngest, Elizabeth, is 16. So I'm in the middle of teaching my youngest to drive.

Our middle daughter is diagnosed with severe autism. And so we're going through kind of some

transition to adulthood things with her right now. And yeah, parenting a college student, too. So I'm sure we'll have a lot to talk about.

That is a lot. I mean, I can already hear, you know, the people in my ear chirping like, hey,

what is it like to transition to adulthood for any kid, let alone a kid with severe autism?

Maybe even wondering what was it like when you first got that diagnosis? How have you navigated that through

parenthood? I mean, in general, your story can be a blessing to a lot. I don't know you've talked
