0:36.3	Adam. Thanks for having me on your program. Yeah, I'm so glad to have you. Marty has written things that you guys have probably used, read in your churches, read in your homes. He's written theology, which is a book we love. It's up on, it's on a display shelf in our house. That's it like it's facing out, cover out. But he's also written the gospel
0:55.2	story Bible, long story short, which is 10-minute devotions to draw your family to God. That's a
0:59.8	fantastic resource. Old story new, kind of in that same vein. Wonderful, a fairly new one. God
1:06.2	made boys and girls to help kids understand the gift of gender, parenting first aid, hope for the
1:10.9	discouraged. I hope you're getting the idea here. Marty thinks about this a lot. How do we equip
1:14.8	families to lead their homes spiritually? Marty, I just read off a lot of your titles. For those
1:21.9	who are less familiar with your work, how'd you get passionate about helping families and churches

1:32.0	Well, I'll be glad to give you a little bit of a history when I first joined the staff of our church
1:38.1	here at Covenant Fellowship 37 years ago. I was a single guy. And the then-married couples pastor came with a crate full of
1:46.7	stuff and said, I'm so glad that you've joined our team, you are now the new children's pastor.
1:52.7	I didn't have kids. I wasn't married. I had no idea what I was doing. That is where I began.
1:59.2	But my heart, God stirred it in those days to reach the next generation.
