Summary

When the market feels uncertain, most agents slow down. Top agents lean in. In this episode, we break down why hesitation — not interest rates or inventory — is the real threat to your business, and how structure, conversations, and daily action create certainty even in challenging markets. This is not hype or empty motivation. It’s a practical reset for agents who want predictable income, stronger pipelines, and renewed momentum. You’ll learn why pessimism spreads so easily, how hard markets actually remove competition, and why optimism becomes a competitive advantage when it’s backed by a real plan. We cover the core laws of motivation, the comeback formula for rebuilding momentum, and how AI fits into the future of real estate without replacing agents who lead with confidence and action. In this episode, you’ll discover: • Why hesitation — not the market — kills agent income• How structure eliminates anxiety and builds confidence• The daily actions that create listings and appointments• Why conversations drive income in every market• How to turn optimism into a practical business advantage If you’ve felt uncertainty creeping in this year, this episode is your reset. Because optimism isn’t something you wait for. It’s something you earn through action. 🚀 Additional Resources for Agents Ready to Level Up 💣 If your 2026 plan is “hope,” you’re already behind. Hi, this is Tim Harris, and we have a special Friday podcast for all of you today. So during the week,

0:06.0

Julie and I will often host private events, and this is going to be a replay of an event I did

0:11.0

this week for a group of remax agents up in Canada. And I thought the event went really well,

0:16.9

based on the feedback of the little group I presented to, they loved it. And I thought you

0:20.9

would as well. So please cozy up to your earbuds or your iPhone or wherever you're watching

0:26.4

us maybe on YouTube and let me know what you think. Again, the podcast today is not our normal

0:32.0

show for Friday, but I thought that you would love the motivation that a lot of these agents

0:36.5

who attended the live event and I did for them seemed to really appreciate.

0:41.3

So there you go. Have a great day and let me know what you think.

0:44.8

And so many of them have never sold real estate.

0:48.2

Tim actually sold real estate for good old remax.

0:51.6

And how many moves did you guys sell in your first year?

0:55.0

103. It sits on our early 20s too which was you know on 56 this year which is crazy to think about.

1:03.0

So this was in the 90s you know so when we sold 103 this was before the internet before you could buy buyer leads.

1:09.0

Have you been in the business that long by chance? Yeah. In the 2008 and I'm going to Yeah, it's pretty funny. So you guys were basically only in the business since Zillow started selling buyer leads and just all these other things that are, you know, make, I think, originally made life easier, but now it makes life a lot more complicated. But the reality of it is, is back then you had to learn how to be a proactively generator because there was no real

1:30.9

ways to buy leads. And then during our career, well, really our coaching business took off

1:36.0

because we sold real estate for about a decade between 100 and 200 homes a year. We started out

1:40.2

by selling first-time homebuyer houses, and then we moved up to really the most expensive

1:43.7

houses in our market. And we turns out that the skill set necessary to

1:48.3

sell you know first-time homebuyer houses works when you're trying to sell more

1:51.4

expensive homes as well it's the exact same skill set but we had again we had a lot of

1:56.8

success selling expensive homes too and NAR National Association Ruralers they did
