I am so excited to be talking with you.

We're having a great conversation all about love addiction and your important work and platform black girls heal and so part of

what we talk about in this podcast is joy that you know if we're not going to have struggle love

no more if we're not going to have struggle lives anymore we got to fill that up with something

and let's fill that up with joy and I ask people because think black women, I don't want to make generalizations,

but I do believe culturally, there's a lot of, like, cynicism in our culture, right? It's like,

you got a good job, but that don't mean you love it. Like, nobody told you have to like your job.

Nobody says you need to, like, get the best. You're going to always struggle in professional

lives. And you've also

taken on a work that can be training. This is a podcast that originally started about burnout, right,

that you can burn out of. I mean, I think as a therapist, I could say we have a high burn out

field. And while you're not doing maybe direct practice like maybe you did before, you're still engaging in work about trauma, about pain and helping them move beyond.

And so I really love asking folks, how do they find joy or center joy in their professional lives?
